Writing to inspire, encourage, and enjoy

I’m excited to announce that I’m a few steps closer to releasing my next novella, Violet’s Vow. I set the release day for May 6th and am planning a fun book release party in my Facebook group, Journeying with Jenny.

Happy middle of the week. 🙂 I have a few fun things to share pertaining to Under the Weeping Willow, my upcoming novel.

When you open my books, you won’t find perfect, sinless characters. You’ll find those who are living amidst harsh circumstances or who face the temptation to walk an easier and perhaps more pleasurable path than what they have vowed to travel.

I am excited to announce that I have decided to go ahead and publish my fourth and last novel in my By the Light of the Moon series, Harvest Moon, which will be released on November 23rd, 2020.

I can hardly believe only one week remains until Silver Moon releases! It’s my hope that between the pages of my WWI historical novel readers will not only be entertained but encouraged with the idea that hope prevails, even during the hardest of times.

Since I started writing historical fiction, I haven’t had as much time to read, but I’m determined to make time for what I love to do. My stack of “to be read” books grows, and I am happy about that. It’s a blessing to be able to read.

Life progresses with resilience despite trouble times. It’s true today, and it was true during WWI. In a scene from my upcoming book—RELEASE DAY IS JUNE 30TH—Mauve and her mother, Ellie argue about Mauve’s forthcoming wedding on the eve of her fiance’s enlistment in WWI.
