Writing to inspire, encourage, and enjoy

I’m happy to share an author interview I did with Kayla E. Green with you today. Kayla and I connected on Instagram awhile back, and I have enjoyed getting to know her. Kayla writes Christian fantasy, a genre, as an author, I am dipping my feet into as well. I hope you enjoy getting to …

Once in a while, here on my blog, I like to offer a bit more about myself and my writing.

I’d like to welcome Christian mystery author, KC Hart to my blog today. KC and I connected on Facebook this year, and it has been my pleasure to get to know this sweet Southern gal. I’ve read the first two books in her series and enjoyed them both so much!

I’d like to extend a warm welcome to inspirational romance author, Annee Jones. I happily connected with Annee recently on Facebook and invited her to take part in an author party I hosted this spring in my Facebook group, Journeying With Jenny. I have come to realize how important community is in the author/writing world. It has been a blessing getting to know Annee. She is a sweet, talented Christian lady and a prolific writer. She has published both traditionally and independently.

One of the great things about being an author has been getting to know other authors. I connected with Christian author, Maria T. Henriksen, on Facebook awhile back, and we’ve been involved in each other’s groups. Since I like to feature authors from time to time, I offered a spotlight to those authors who had been included in my last author party/takeover on Facebook. Below is an interview I did with Maria, recently.

While active in a Christian Readers Facebook group, I asked for reading recommendations with humor, and someone recommended this mystery series by New York Times bestselling author, Lorena McCourtney. I loved this book! I connected with Lorena on Facebook, and she agreed to do an interview with me.

It was my pleasure to recently connect with Wisconsin author, Naomi Munch. I love meeting authors, especially ones from my home state.

Today, I am very happy to feature New York Times Bestselling author, Lauren Willig. I read the three books pictured above and enjoyed them immensely.

Part of the fun about being an author is meeting other authors. I recently read Desire of My Heart, by Anne Perrault. I connected with Anne and Facebook and enjoy her friendly and encouraging spirit. Following is my review, where to get her books, and an author interview.

Read my interview with Christian Historical fiction author, Jennifer Lynn Cary, and my review of her book, Relentless Joy.
