Writing to inspire, encourage, and enjoy

Lately, life has been reverting back to simple things. My days play out in a pattern dictated by my body, what it can tolerate and what functions it needs to perform. I have learned to adjust, but living with MS is a constant adjustment and forever a lesson in patience.Nothing stays the same for very long anymore.

Here’s my thankful thoughts for this Thanksgiving, expressed in poem form… The Basics of Thanksgiving

As a part of the Coffee Pot Book Club, I am happy to feature Kellyn Roth’s lovely novel, At Her Fingertips.

I’m happy to announce that my Christmastime novella, Holly’s Homecoming, has released!

Today, I am happy to feature A Fair Mountain Christmas, as a part of the Coffee Pot Book Club.

I’d like to welcome Christian mystery author, KC Hart to my blog today. KC and I connected on Facebook this year, and it has been my pleasure to get to know this sweet Southern gal. I’ve read the first two books in her series and enjoyed them both so much!

It’s release day for my latest historical novel (my sixth book-baby!), set in my little corner of Wisconsin.

Today, I thought I’d give you a larger taste of Under the Weeping Willow. This is chapter five, where Enid, along with her son’s help, works on packing up her mother’s belongings in the family home where Enid grew up. It’s a bittersweet task and one laden with a good helping of guilt…

Today, as a part of the coffee pot Book Club, I’m happy to feature Beneath a Veil of Smoke and Ash.

I have taken a break from writing for the past few months, but I am beginning to get the itch. I have two more books to write in my Botanical Seasons Novella series, but for some reason, I’m not that excited about writing them. I crave a change of pace and genre. I have always wanted to retell some fairytales.
