Jenny Knipfer–Author

Writing to inspire, encourage, and enjoy

Do you ever wonder where authors come up with book titles or the name of series? Let me tell you how the series title, Sheltering Trees, came to me.

I’m very happy to post my review for The Love Coward, a down-home Christian historical romance by fellow Wisconsin author, Naomi Musch, who has become a friend and a favorite author.

I thought I’d share some of the inspiration behind the story of In a Grove of Maples, my upcoming historical fiction novel. When I finished writing my By the Light of the Moon series, I knew I wanted to go a different direction for my next novel and make it a less intricately woven story and one inspired by family.

I’m so thrilled to reveal the gorgeous cover for my next book, In a Grove of Maples, which is the first in a new series of books entitled: Sheltering Trees.

Today, I am a guest blogger on Vivian MacKade’s blog through my blog tour for Harvest Moon with the Coffeepot Book Club. Here is an excerpt from my post:

It was my pleasure to recently connect with Wisconsin author, Naomi Munch. I love meeting authors, especially ones from my home state.

My last book in the By the light of the Moon series, Harvest Moon, is on a blog tour with The Coffeepot Book Club.

Today I want to welcome fellow Wisconsin author, Michele Olson. I asked her to do an author interview with me and she graciously agreed. Michele and I met through a friend of mine and a family member of hers. I enjoyed reading her book, Being Ethel (In a World That Loves Lucy), very much. After Michele’s interview I share my book review.

I am happy to introduce fellow Wisconsinite and author, Brenda Marie Webb. Last year Brenda and I connected on Instagram, and I bought and read her book, A Thousand Mothers. Brenda is a self-proclaimed history nerd and a member of the Historical Novel Society. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband, 2 crazy rescue dogs, and a lot of cats.
