Jenny Knipfer–Author

Writing to inspire, encourage, and enjoy

Happy middle of the week. 🙂 I have a few fun things to share pertaining to Under the Weeping Willow, my upcoming novel.

I have not read Preacher on the Run, a Christian colonial-themed novel, but was approached by the author to be apart of her blog tour, and I accepted. Enjoy the excerpt, and be sure to click on the Rafflecopter link below to signup for Jayna’s giveaway.

Today, I am putting the spotlight on Christian fiction novel, Mercy Undeserved. I have not read this novel yet but was approached by the author to do a feature, and I am happy to do so. It sounds like a great book and series!

My first inspiration and challenge for writing Under the Weeping Willow sprung from a question: what would it be like, as a daughter, to have a strained relationship with my mother? And what would be the driving force behind it?

Who’s thinking of Christmas in August? I am. 🙂 My first novella, Holly’s Homecoming, in my Botanical Seasons novella series releases November 4th, and I’m excited to share this sweet Christmastime read with you.

I have not read ‘Tho I Be Mute yet but would like to. It sounds interesting, especially with its Native American vein! So today, as a part of the Coffeepot Book Club, I am happy to feature this historical fiction romance novel.

I’d like to extend a warm welcome to inspirational romance author, Annee Jones. I happily connected with Annee recently on Facebook and invited her to take part in an author party I hosted this spring in my Facebook group, Journeying With Jenny. I have come to realize how important community is in the author/writing world. It has been a blessing getting to know Annee. She is a sweet, talented Christian lady and a prolific writer. She has published both traditionally and independently.

One of the great things about being an author has been getting to know other authors. I connected with Christian author, Maria T. Henriksen, on Facebook awhile back, and we’ve been involved in each other’s groups. Since I like to feature authors from time to time, I offered a spotlight to those authors who had been included in my last author party/takeover on Facebook. Below is an interview I did with Maria, recently.

Today, I am happy to be a blog tour host with the Coffeepot Book Club for Cathie Dunn’s historical novel, The Shadows of Versailles. Here’s more about the book, tour, author, and an excerpt. Book Title: The Shadows of Versailles * Series: An Affair of the Poisons, Book One * Author: Cathie Dunn * Publication …

I recently finished The Green Dress and thought I’d share my review with you. Busy with writing and writerly tasks, I don’t have as much time to read as I would like, but I squeeze it in here and there, usually at night.
