I’ve stayed up reading the last few nights until 11:00, trying to make significant progress on All the Light We Cannot See. It has around 550 pages, a big commitment, but it has been on my list of books to read for some time.

This year for the first time in over nineteen years, there will be a blue moon on Halloween. A blue moon is more than one full moon in a month, which doesn’t happen frequently. I am celebrating one year in print with my book, Blue Moon, a tale of precious things more rare than a blue moon. I thought it would be fun to offer a giveaway to coincide with the two.

Family and forgiveness go together. Or not. When writing my second novel, Blue Moon, I dwelled on what it would be like to forgive a family member for stealing.

I haven’t shared much about my books here on my blog, but I thought today I would share the first couple of pages with you.
