I’m excited to announce that I’m a few steps closer to releasing my next novella, Violet’s Vow. I set the release day for May 6th and am planning a fun book release party in my Facebook group, Journeying with Jenny.

I’ve getting back to an old love—reading at night before I go to bed. It makes me happy and helps me rest. My mind stays too active writing at night, so I had to switch that up. I read a number of excellent books last month: The Curator’s Daughter, A Change of Fortune, and Things We Didn’t Say.
During this joyous Christmas season, I wanted to make the effort to let you know how blessed I am that you are interested in my work and have chosen to follow me. Thank you! I’m praying all the best for you and yours and wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
As a part of the Coffee Pot Book Club, I am happy to feature Kellyn Roth’s lovely novel, At Her Fingertips.
It’s release day for my latest historical novel (my sixth book-baby!), set in my little corner of Wisconsin.
Today, I’m happy to introduce one of my author friends, Candace West, to you. Candace and I connected on social media and I’ve enjoyed getting to know her. She has a sweet spirit, and I am grateful to be able to call her a friend. Candace writes beautiful stories of hope through her historical fiction characters.
I have not read Preacher on the Run, a Christian colonial-themed novel, but was approached by the author to be apart of her blog tour, and I accepted. Enjoy the excerpt, and be sure to click on the Rafflecopter link below to signup for Jayna’s giveaway.
In this fall season, I thought it would be fitting to post a scene that takes place in the autumn from my latest novel, In a Grove of Maples. In this display set up on my buffet, you’ll notice that I have a lit candle next to the book. It’s a specially made candle, by From the Page candles, to match my novel!! How cool is that?
My first inspiration and challenge for writing Under the Weeping Willow sprung from a question: what would it be like, as a daughter, to have a strained relationship with my mother? And what would be the driving force behind it?
All this week, my inspirational historical novel, In a Grove of Maples, is on tour with Just Read Tours. I am offering a special giveaway at the tour stops for those who signup to follow me on a social media platform.
