Today I want to welcome fellow Wisconsin author, Michele Olson. I asked her to do an author interview with me and she graciously agreed. Michele and I met through a friend of mine and a family member of hers. I enjoyed reading her book, Being Ethel (In a World That Loves Lucy), very much. After Michele’s interview I share my book review.
My name is Regina and I am so excited to be here with you today, dear readers. I have published a contemporary Christian fiction. I have a non-fiction in mind, and I’m already working on a second contemporary Christian fiction. I also blog regularly, and I’m working on writing devotionals for several outlets.
I thought I’d share some vintage romance books dear to my heart. These are all by Essie Summers, a favorite author of my mom’s. Summers sold over 19 million copies of her books in 105 countries. The copyright for No Orchids By Request, which is my favorite, reads 1965–back when Harlequin Romance books were fairly innocent in content.
Since I started writing historical fiction, I haven’t had as much time to read, but I’m determined to make time for what I love to do. My stack of “to be read” books grows, and I am happy about that. It’s a blessing to be able to read.
Book Review for What the Wind Knows – Anne, a fiction writer, travels to Dromahair, Ireland to see where her grandfather, Eoin, came from and what family heritage she can discover. Anne uncovers more than mere history; she steps into it.
m so pleased to feature historical fiction author, Pamela Binnings Ewen today. By following Pamela on Instagram, I heard about her new book, The Queen of Paris, released in early April of this year. It sounded so good. Months ago, I requested an interview with her and an advanced copy to read and review. She accepted, and at her request, her publishing company, Black Stone publishing, sent me a copy of The Queen of Paris, a novel about Coco Chanel.
I plan to post every Wednesday with an update on my reading and share a photo and/or review of a book that I have read, starting with this sweet historical fiction book by Rachel Fordham.
I recently read Christian Fiction Off the Beaten Path, and I follow JCP Allen–one of the authors featured in this anthology–on Facebook and Instagram. I enjoyed her story and asked her to do a guest blog for me, my first so far. Thank you, JCP, for being my first guest blogger! The following is her post about the story behind A Rose From the Ashes . . .
